Thank you for bringing attention to this @decolonizingtherapy and @theslowfactory. A colonialist society attempts to make us feel like imposters in our own global home. Capitalistic values attempts to condition Black, Indigenous, and People of Color to believe that we don’t belong, we’re not good, beautiful, valuable, and that we’re not powerful. But the burden of that oppression and repression does not lie with us. It’s important that we cultivate boundaries to unlearn, purge, and release what is not ours to carry or ours to own. Instead, let's embrace our infinite power and tap into the abundance of love—healing and transforming our hearts, minds, and communities.
