Memorial Hermann’s Razzle Dazzle raises $1 Million at Annual Lunch “Empress of Soul” and seven-time GRAMMY® award-winning singer Gladys Knight thrilled the crowd of 600 attendees who filled the ballroom of The Post Oak Hotel to celebrate the return of Memorial Hermann’s annual Razzle Dazzle luncheon, raising $1 million to benefit early detection and outreach programs, including at the Bobetta C. Lindig Breast Care Center at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center. This year’s record-breaking success, staged by Memorial Hermann Foundation, was chaired by Houston community leaders Caroline and Will Brown and Lisa and Jerry Simon, with Yvonne Cormier, M.D. serving as honorary chair. Restauranteur and philanthropist Nina Hendee was luncheon honoree, recognized for her tireless contributions to Memorial Hermann, breast cancer detection and prevention, and a myriad of other community causes.
