Making this new mini vlog video series to hold us accountable and to hopefully inspire any other burnt out parents to start taking baby steps forward whether that’s a simple walk or 5 minutes of stretching. For the first year of our daughter’s life I put my physical and mental health on the back burner. I recently found out I have adrenal fatigue along with several other factors contributing to my burnout and mental fog so we decided to create consistent patterns in our daily life that will help both of us nurture our mind, body, and spirit. Our simple morning routine consists of making the bed, going to the gym, eating a high protein breakfast, and doing a devotional + prayer time as a family to set our hearts right before we start the day. I have gotten some questions about who watches Georgia while we are at the gym in the morning and my dad watches her which has been such a blessing. She typically sleeps until we get home but he is there and will feed her breakfast if she wakes up.
