Chris I can’t believe we’re here! When I think of you and the joy you bring into my life , I think of our first hug. I remember feeling butterflies in my stomach . I remember feeling like I was finally home. And then I think of us during our first trip in Tulum . Laying on the beach for hours eating and drinking margaritas . talking for hours and hours and hours about life. Feeling that the world has stopped for us. That was the best feeling! The newness and freshness of our relationship. But what really cemented you in my heart is your love for Hala . The way you played with her and took her on her first surfing adventure. Yogi bear. The way you showed up even when you and I were broken up (always a bad idea) that’s how I knew we were forever. Chris You think you know but you have no idea what you have done for me. You have allowed me to see myself through your eyes . Empowered, loved, supported and free Yes it is my journey but you have held me and kept me safe so I can be me. To a point were I often wonder is this real. I guess it is. Here we are . And because of the joy you brought into my life Today in front of all these beautiful friends and family, I will do something that is so hard for me to do. I will look you in the eye and I will say the unfiltered truth: you are cemented in my heart and in my life because of the person that you are.
