Only in the last week have I fully had time to breathe and reflect on my first semester as a mom plus full time professor plus professional director/choreographer. It was a very busy, exhausting, stimulating, & creative season. Working on Cabaret has been a dream of mine since I played Texas as a young performer and was continued in grad school when I researched and studied the history of it intensely. The teamwork I experienced in bringing this piece to life as a director/choreographer was unparalleled- many thanks to everyone that I shared the rehearsal room and designer/production meetings with. The cast was a dream and the 4th picture w/ dramaturg @mslemontop, MD @brandon_magid, assistant director @malachi.watson, & assistant choreographer @mackenziepaigesimmons are the peeps who worked tirelessly alongside me for many months to whom I owe endless gratitude.
