And thanks to Artists Space’s production manager Rezarta Seferi for helping us see through our vision for the work. ✨💫 This was our first time performing a work three times consecutively and it was interesting to experience it evolve over the course of the residency. Thanks @virtuosa12 for trusting us and curating/tending to this work! This work draws on the choreography of prefight scenes in a selection of reality television shows. Sourcing gestures, sculptural objects, and sound of all types from these tense moments, we activated sonic sculptures across three nights of aleatory sound, movement, and interactive video. The installation was then open to the public between performances with documentation playing back on the monitors and speakers. 📷 @destiny.mata
