Now that one of my favorite moments of the film has gone viral, I want to finally give my thanks without spoilers for at least 10M of you 🥴. As Directors so much of filmmaking is done when the cameras aren’t rolling. It’s building trust, and communicating vision and purpose in an end result that usually only exists with the director. You can plan all you’d like, but have to be flexible for what they will share and be ready to capture it. This moment with Manti was beyond raw, real and completely vulnerable. It is the type of expression that couldn’t be written or planned for but hoped for as directors. I’ve watched it a million times and still tear up. I’m so grateful for everyone that made this possible for Manti to tell his story, and most importantly @mteo50 for allowing us into his life again.
