On Saturday we celebrated the City of Water Day with a cleanup and public paddle to @lorenzmarie ’s Tide and Current Taxi hidden around the bend of the Dutch Kills Tributary! The City of Water Day brings together communities throughout the NY/NJ Metro Region to raise awareness about the risk we all face from floods and rising seas, and champion climate resilient shorelines and waterfront communities. Thank you to our amazing volunteers for helping out with the ongoing restoration and litter abatement efforts at this site along the @dutchkillsloop, and to @north_bk_community_boathouse and Marie for being such amazing partners on this event!
