Thinking about Peggy Guggenheim one day after her birthday 26 August 1898... here she is on the terrace of her palazzo @guggenheim_venice that houses her remarkable collection to this day and is part of any visit I make to the city. It’s also where she is buried since her death in 1979. She was the daughter of Benjamin Guggenheim who went down with the Titanic in 1912 and the niece of Solomon R. Guggenheim who founded the @guggenheim in NY famously designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.
