OUT TODAY - MAHA: "Orkos" is finally out today, the one and only album Maha recorded in the late 70s (الترجمة العربية بالاسفل). Usually albums get released on fridays but Maha is really into astrology since an early age and based on her calculations she preferred today for it to be released. When Maha recorded the album she had already been part of the Cairo music scene on and off for 10 years. In the late 1960s she visited Barcelona for some concerts alongside Samir Iskandarani and Andre Ryder (The arranger of Oum Khaltoum) which was when the above photo was taken upon their arrival.
