Homemade Nutella 😍🍫🌰 By @thrivingonplants Recipe: Ingredients: 3 cups raw hazelnuts 1 cup pure icing sugar 1/3 cup cocoa powder Generous pinch of salt 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 tbsp neutral oil ** Method: 1. Preheat your oven to 180°C. Spread the hazelnuts onto a lined baking tray and bake for 10 minutes for until lightly golden. 2. Transfer into process or blender and blitz until it becomes a fine meal. Use a spoon to scrape down the sides (or use a tamper if using a blender) as needed then continue to process on low to medium speed until it becomes a smooth nut butter/paste. Note: This can take between 10-20 minutes depending on your appliance. 3. Add in the icing sugar, cocoa powder, salt and vanilla and process again until smooth. 4. With the motor running, slowly pour in the oil until well combined. 5. Pour into a clean jar and store in a cool and dry area (it will become thicker once it cools).
