"I was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure (very early menopause) when I turned 34. My symptoms had been ongoing for over a year before; these were; insomnia, headaches, brain fog, hot flushes, lower sex drive, amongst others. My GP told me it was up to me if I wanted to go on HRT - this is not following the guidelines for this condition. I eventually paid privately for a hormone specialist.
