Christian’s Angels! @misscoachdani, @alexandrawillz, and @kate.maccarone! It’s safe to say Christian has found a new love for cycling and competing thanks to our gravel family at @gravel_worlds. This is one of the first trips he has been on in years and to spend it with our team and all of you was everything! Y’all made him feel so at home and we can’t thank you enough. To speak on Christian’s resiliency he took a hard fall during the practice ride trying to take a turn to tight into loose gravel and it got the best of him, leaving him with 2 bloody knees and scrapes on his arms. This didn’t stop him though. Come race day he took a deep breathe and rode hard for 34.2 miles until he crossed the finish line. As he crossed he went straight to his mom and hugged her while happy tears fell from both their faces.
