Oh lookie here, I just released my second commissioned think piece! —— While my first piece was about Creative Status and creatives contribute to a status-structured society, this second one focuses on how experiences widen individual choice and expand community empathy. I’ve pulled a lot from my own work with planning events and creating experiences for safe spaces, but I’ve also baked in ideas from my own research on both concepts. It’s definitely nerve-wracking to share my writing in this way, especially since I’m used to writing poetry and my feelings lols, but I’ve had so much fun challenging myself to write essays like this that I hope to do more (my last commissioned piece will be released this month!) —— Read it on my Braid network and let me know your thoughts!
