To be completely honest I did nottt like my TWA phase at all when I first big chopped! I think it’s embedded in black women from childhood to tie their beauty to their hair so to go from being permed to having a very short Afro was not a smooth transition for me. But looking at my old photos I wish I would’ve appreciated how beautiful it was back then, the way short hair accentuates and puts focus to your natural features is unmatched 😍 It really makes me want to do it all over again sometimes! 🥹
