At the start of the summer our daughter TEPPER was too scared to even jump off our dock into the lake. She wouldn’t go down the slide. She was scared to go in the lake. I kept telling her over and over “THIS IS YOUR SUMMER, TEPPER”. Encouraging her. Over and over. Slowly but surely she started to believe in herself and started knocking things off her list. That list got bigger..:and BIGGER! The words we speak matter. If we encourage our kids (and ourselves) consistently and with conviction they (we) will BELIEVE. And believing is 90% of the game. Proud of what she has done so far this summer...and more importantly...she’s proud of herself. It’s YOUR summer. #TeppersSummer.
