First Easter with some of my future fam. 🐣🪺🐰 Ben and I both share Jewish heritage on our fathers’ sides. A few years ago, I chose to convert on my own—a personal journey to connect with a part of my identity I never had the opportunity to explore. Completing my mikvah felt like reclaiming a missing piece of myself. At the same time, I grew up celebrating joyful traditions like Easter and Christmas. I’ve never been drawn to organized religion, but rather to a deep, personal relationship with what I call Source. To me, life is all about contrast, and I believe we can hold space for many truths at once. My religion is love—love for all people, beliefs, and backgrounds, so long as they don’t harm, exclude, punish, or harshly judge others.
