In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, I want to call attention to women’s mental health. I recently saw that 275,000 women left the workforce in January of this year. And in 2021, 42% of women said they felt burned out.
Now being a mom of 3 along with what I see everyday in practice at @parsleyhealth, it is clear to me that something is broken and women are not getting the support or the care they need.
If you or someone you know is struggling, the silver lining is that there are more services available than ever.

In addition, a lot of the work we do at @parsleyhealth is directly treating mental health and you might be surprised to know that your mental health issues may not be in your head. From thyroid to blood sugar issues and hormone imbalances, the invisible may be causing or contributing to how you feel emotionally. And when we address these things we can feel better. In fact out of 100 patients that come to Parsley on antidepressants 25 won’t need them anymore within the first year.
I hope this post, brings hope and awareness to anyone out there struggling with their mental health.
Head to my link in bio to learn more about how @parsleyhealth is helping patients reduce their mental health symptoms.
And in my book State Change, I walk through steps you can take today to put positively impact your mental health symptoms. Check out the same link in bio to order.
