omrc160 : The end of an era. This Saturday's long run sadly marked the last run out of our beloved The Gate. 176 Delancey has been home to many of us for the past 2 plus years. During the pandemic it quickly became a meeting place for us to get out and come together safely. And last summer, when we weren't sure if we'd be able to train together for marathon season, it became our OASIS homebase for 4 months. So many memories and so many moments to be grateful for. And none of it would be possible if it weren't for the generosity and selflessness of BrdigeRunners and Captain Mike Saes. We are so thankful to him and BR for always welcoming and allowing us to set up shop every weekend. Community exists in so many forms but BR has always understood the power of space and how it helps to reinforce the bonds we make on the road. We already miss this place and this damn parking sign.
