Just a little history fact about the truth behind the tale of Medusa. Let me reiterate. I am NOT in any way, shape or form, invalidating the reasoning behind the medusa tattoo/symbol. I think it’s an amazing thing! And it should continue to be used to protect SA victims. I just wanted to shine a light on why the myth that inspired the tattoo isn’t entirely accurate. If you don’t believe me, that’s entirely okay! Greek mythology has tons of different tellings. And the story of Medusa holds too true for far too many people today.
