Taum _________ today i'm announcing the release dates of my 7th album "Taum". The title name is a mix oft two german words which when put together, describe a particular mindstate i couldn't find a word for - so i had to create one. Taumel (tumbling) and Traum (dream) together became "Taum" - a state of uncertainty, up and down, hope and desperation... this is how i felt at the pandemic's beginning when i hoped this bad dream will finally be over but i ended up just tumbeling from one emotion to another. For the first time in over 10 years - i had no creative drive whatsoever. There was really no urge inside of me to create anything and especially not music. my mind was occupied. it took me a while to get settled and at ease with the new situation and suddenly it felt like it was back and within 2-3 weeks the basic foundation of "Taum" was finished. This album portraits how i felt through this time. The tracktitles represent certain emotive states that go along with my personal interpretation of vibes within music. This album was a reliever as it helped me to materialize emotional episodes. Therefore it is a quite personal piece of work which is why i'm happy to release it on @plangentrecords , the label that started it all for me. thanks for lending me your ears.
