There’s a fine line between “Dressy Casual” and “Casual Dressy”, be sure to read those invites carefully! Lol I’d been dying to get my hands on the @awake_mode laser cut circle skirt so when I came upon it at at The Room within @hudsonsbay I didn’t stick! Here’s two ways to style it. LOOK 1. Dressy Casual. - My golden rule is to tone down a really dressy piece with graphic tees or tanks. This never fails. - I added a super fun bag from one of my fave Queen St W boutiques because why not add a beaded bag! LOL -Then I balanced it all off with simple shoes and forfeited jewelry. - Tee is from @chaserbrand via @revolve , shoes are @schutz via @nordstromcanada LOOK 2. Casual Dressy - let’s switch it up for the more casual events where we still wanna be chic 💁🏽‍♀️ -Swap the heels for white sneakers, I’ve added a pair of @goldengoose from @nordstromcanada - Keep the funky bag and swap the tee for a blazer. I’ve added an oversized blazer I’ve had for years from @zara -This look keeps it 😎 and comfy. Which girl are you? Dressy casual or Casual dressy? This isn’t always the case, but for me it’s a tie.
