I took this picture of my Aunt on the train as we were leaving my college auditions 5 years ago. This woman got up at 3 am to take me and sat in the hallway of Pearl Studios for over 5 hours as I auditioned. I promised her on the train that when I went to the Tony Awards that she would be my date. (I KEPT THAT PROMISE ✨) If she hadn’t put me in acting classes when I was 16 I wouldn’t be an actor today. I am forever grateful that God sent this woman to save my life and that she gets to enjoy these special moments with me. Y’all wish my Aunt Debbie a Happy Birthday.
