In the Kansas primary, we witnessed Loud Light's impact on transforming Kansas through advocacy work to defend voter protection, base-building, civic engagement, and turning out the youth vote. Their efforts were critical in fighting to protect abortion access. Like young activists and organizers in the Alliance for Youth Action Network, voters in Kansas believe the United States Supreme Court is on the wrong side of history. While this is a great victory, this state-by-state patchwork of laws cannot stand. Congress must expeditiously enact the will of the people to end the filibuster to codify the fundamental right to an abortion.”
