The ADCC was without a doubt fantastic and we had all the possible support from the organization. I was very happy with my participation in the event. I didn't think I would have enough time to recover from my surgery and fight. But with several professionals around me we were able to do enough rehab to be able to compete. I had several reasons to bail out of the competition but I didn't want to stop trying. I am driven by challenges and this kept the fire burning hot the whole time. Today my focus is totally on Nogi because I want to come back next edition for a gold medal and I know I can do it so I need to give up some things and just focus on my no-gi training. Every choice is a sacrifice. Let's make it happen.
