Tips that most people don’t know when traveling to Cappadocia. Save for reference. Not ALL cave hotels allow you to have access to their terrace in the morning! I learned the hard way🥲 Hot air balloons are only up in the sky from 5am to 7:30/8:30am. They do NOT stay up in the sky all day long. If you want carpet/terrace pictures with hot air balloons in the background, you’ll have to wake up for it🫠 Also, most cave hotels ONLY allow their guests to have access to their terrace in the morning’s. They’re open to the public after. Some cave hotels offer private terrace with photographers. Call ahead to save yourself a trip. Be mindful when booking your Airbnb or hotel. If you don’t care for the pictures, then there’s nothing to worry about. If you want IG worthy photos, book a cave hotel with a terrace. Lastly, reserve time as it might get crowded. Bring a jacket because it does get chilly as you’re waiting your turn.
