SLOW MASS “Low On Foot” is out. What a record - weird art pop and breathtaking bummer jams. We tracked this in Chicago in 2021 (my first outing into the world after covid vaccines were available) - 4 days at @palisadestudios and 6 days at @type_one_studios. Double drums + live guitars and bass, synths, piano, weird mics, vocals in dumb places, amazing guest musicians, ideas, ideas, layers, layers. Many days of mixing. Loved the Palisade drum room and old Neotek, loved the Type One sunlight and close quarters, loved working with all these warm brilliant people, love this band, love this record.
