✨ Here's how to fix over moisturised/conditioned curls! ✨ Just realised the opening frame says "over moistured" and I legit wanna throw my phone out of window 😂🙈 should be "over moisturised". If your hair feels overly soft, has a fluffy appearance, curls are limp and not holding shape try a protein filled routine. I've got a lot of protein in the below routine, it may be too much for some of you but you won't know until you try. If its too much, clarify and you'll be good to go. Identifying protein in products can be overwhelming at first but look for the keyword "Hydrolyzed" in the ingredients list and you're on to a winner. I do have a reel on this which is pinned to the top of my grid. Products used ✨ @Aldi UK Lacura Luscious Lengths Shampoo - contains sulphates and 3 lots of protein! I was able to clarify with it and get a protein kick too. ✨ Aldi Lacura Luscious Lengths Conditioner - again, this contains 3 lots of protein. I love the slip I get with this, it's silicone free too if you prefer to use silicone free products. I love how this combo delivers on the protein front and hair doesn't feel dry after using either. ✨ @jsl.essentials Leave-in Hair Cream - this contains one protein but it's very high on the ingredients list so packs a good punch. It's lightweight too and doesn't weigh my hair down. If you've followed me for a while you know I'm OBSESSED with this brand. COOPER15 gets you money off the whole website (aff). ✨ @Only Curls Volumizing Curl Mousse - this is becoming a favourite of mine recently, it gives me some extra volume at the root and it's protein rich too. ✨ JSL Essentials Curl Defining Jelly - I sealed my hair with this medium to strong hold jelly. This was the only protein free product I used, I had enough protein in my hair at this point to make a big difference to my hair.
