Momma E, To know you was to know the Waldrep family. And even more important, to know you was to know Jesus. Your love, grace, and tender heart made our growing up more than we could ever dream or imagine (Eph. 3:20-21). I remember how you would pour out my sodas in the sink as Dad would come home. I remember all the days we would go “driving” to see houses and tell stories. I remember your grandsons coming to my 12 yr old birthday party and showing us what real basketball looks like. I remember you showing up at tennis matches, graduations, and everything in between. I remember the smell of your food, the cards on birthdays, and your German chocolate cake. I remember listening to gospel music since I was a baby. But most of all, I remember you — your love, your care, your nurturing. You gave my parents the opportunity to build a life for us and you taught us that Jesus is the only life we ever need. I knew I needed to see you last night. The Lord is so so kind. Go “turn a flip” in heaven and I cannot wait to see you up there. I am so thankful for your life, your legacy, and the man you raised me to be. I love you ❤️
