Cruising over the reef 🐙 Octopus don’t just walk over the reef using their 8 appendages - they can also jet from place to place quickly. By drawing water into their mantle cavity and quickly contracting and forcibly pushing all of the water out of their funnel, the octopus can shoot across the reef to avoid predators.
