Cat Found With Skin Pulled Back Down To Neck⁠... ⁠ No one knows what led to this poor boy ending up in such a horrific condition. This huge wound left his right eye stretched and his neck skin was pulled off. There is exposed muscle from the gaping wounds. ⁠ ⁠ Conley was spotted with his injuries in July, but because he is skittish, no one was able to catch him. He survived 5 months on the streets in this condition. Luckily, a Good Samaritan was finally able to catch him and he is now in our care. ⁠ ⁠ It will be a long process to start healing Conley’s wounds because the skin is extremely stretched. He had to have hanging, dead skin removed and his wounds cleaned. He is on antibiotics. The long-term treatment will include honey bandages changed every few days.
