2nd MICU 28hr shift (as a senior resident) in the books. Post vacation, the happiness to learn and the desire has returned. So grateful. I’m better able to be there for my patient’s families as they deal with the death of their loved ones, better able to process acute situations (ran my first code overnight)...burn out makes life so blurry I swear. S/o to the other security guard who captured this😂 it’s becoming a thing. Anyways, mama’s back and happy to be here again.
