Started with a big group Then it was less Then it was two And I crossed a line first! @therifticeland was lit 🔥 beyond my expectations, and the terrain was insane. I rode Mt Etna earlier this year with @campagnolosrl which actually gave me a huge edge knowing how to ride volcanic sand and rocks. It’s unique. It’s scary. It’s fast. It’s wonderful. River crossings today were so deep I went for a swim, but was so hot from being full gas all day! The competition was awesome, everybody was flying and it took a lot of tactics to get the win today. I was buzzing with the @colnagoworld and @castellicycling special kit and bike and I wasn’t going to let this opportunity go as I’ve had so many 2nd places this season, especially with the amazing support from all my partners and family in my gravel project.
