If you’ve been following my recent story posts, you’ve seen that I am creating a new classroom door in honor of our Brudda @1troublemmb! This Nipsey Hussle door has been up for 3 school years now. I just couldn’t get myself to to change it. No one deserved to replace it... until. I just want to show gratitude to everyone that reposted photos of this door across social media! Many of you began following me because of my old classroom door designs and it feels good to be returning to the basics again. That said... As we begin another school year, it is not missed on teachers that so many of the changes that we need, haven’t been realized yet. We do not feel safer. We do not feel valued. Even with raises from districts across the country, our salaries do not keep pace with inflation and the cost of living in major cities. Simply... TEACHERS DESERVE BETTER!
