I have been struggling to find an angle to approach this. The racism and sexism my girls and I have encountered throughout the years. Today I decided to speak up. Meet the @teammcosta a team build by hundreds of brown women and women of color who have thought me and eachother how to be ! I celebrate you my Queens , my black Queens the despise the racism, sexism, body shame, and many other people who have treated us behind the stage at #nyfw and even brands that decided we were just 3/5 of human beings and decided not to support us for the color or our skin, speak patterns have times and times again tried to finish us up , for those who tried to black list us, thank you! You made us stronger ! We are a movement that goes all over the world! You can’t ignore us,by other teams and even some organizers where judged us for how we look and not for for who we are. We stayed quiet for too long ! This is your turn .
