So happy to finally release our second album MERDEKA!! Excited but anxious about this 🥺🦋 To us merdeka stands for emancipation and freedom - letting go of expectations, trying out new things and staying more true to ourselves. It’s a journey through the past, present, pain, trauma, dreams, healing, growth and South East Asian pride 💗 There’s ambient, jungle, funk carioca, gabber, bubbling, post-club and many more subtle influences on this record 😈 There’s also a lot of recorded traditional instruments on this records as well as our voices too. Something we’d like to experiment with even more in future projects! For now we hope you can all enjoy the record as much as we did making it!
