He is so so good. God has shown me so many times what it means to trust in Him, but being in a position where there is no other option but to trust, truly shows me what it means to rely on Him. I often try to do everything I can to gain control, but He teaches me that His ways are so much better. Philippians 4:6-7, a very common 2 verses, go like this - “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Peace isn’t about a calm mind when everything is going well, it’s about trusting in His goodness and feeling His peace when, in the world’s eyes, everything seems to be a mess. Matthew 6:25-34 reminds us of how God feeds the birds and causes the lilies to grow, so how much more does our Father provide for us? TRUST in Him in EVERY circumstance and he will provide a peace that surpasses all understanding, thank you Jesus for this good news!!
