Meet Sebastian Harris, from Australia. He has been living with type 1 diabetes since 2018 and he is a member of Blue Circle Voices network. "I wish to join the Blue Circle Voices network so that I can share my story with all people with and without diabetes and provide online support. I always want to be an example that, no matter what age, you can support diabetes and advocate for research and development in the industry. I may not have a long history with diabetes and management, but I am willing to research, learn and implement what I understand about the condition. I have only been living with diabetes for four years, but the experience I've gained from working with different groups and individuals has provided valuable interpersonal and intrapersonal skills necessary to share IDF’s mission. I have promoted access to diabetes care and fought against discrimination for people with diabetes as an ambassador for Diabetes Australia and JDRF, and aim to continue doing so as long as possible. I look forward to contributing my written and spoken communication skills, as well as my high-level research ability to IDF as a member of the Blue Circle Voices."
