SELF PORTRAIT opens today Excited and humbled to be presenting with @friends.associates for this year’s Melbourne Design Week. Huge thanks to @dale.hardiman and @skeehanstudio for inviting me to participate in this special exhibit . The show will present 22 self-portraits by Australian creatives, telling us who they are in this moment . . . My self portrait, Entropy, reflects an existential quest for authenticity, acknowledging the precariousness and therefore the preciousness of our existence. We are a momentary by-product of the laws of physics - an exquisitely ordered assemblage of particles, destined towards increasing entropy. Life getting harder, the world descending into chaos around us – it’s all just par for the course. Are any of us truly unique? .
