I’ve decided to retire from football! I’ve had some time to sit back and reflect on my career. What a crazy ride it’s been for me over the last 5 years. It’s been a rollercoaster for my family and I over my time in the NFL! My dream was always to play in the NFL. I’ve had to earn my job every single day over the last 5 years and I wouldn’t have had it any other way! My time with the Chiefs has been amazing. The coaches and players have become a family to me. So many awesome people have had an impact on me. @meg.dieter thank you for all of your support! I know it was never easy on us but your support over the last 8 years has helped me more than you know! @patrickmahomes @killatrav @cheetah @b_bell10 Thank you guys for being like brothers to me! I’ll never forget how much fun we had on a daily basis! My first ever NFL game was against Jordy Nelson who was my idol growing up watching the game. Crazy to sit back and think about my time. I was never the star guy. I always knew what my role was and did that to the best of my ability, which is why I can sit back and be happy where I finished at! I got to compete against hall of famers. Teammates that are the best in the game. There’s so many guys I can name that taught me things about this sport and life. One thing that I prided myself on was being positive no matter the situation and being a good teammate! 24 years of football. Can’t wait to see what’s next!
