LIGHTENING HAIR COMES WITH SO MUCH PRESSURE, especially when working on someone else’s work as you never know the true story behind the OVERLAP and THE BIG QUESTION THAT ALWAYS RUNS THROUGH MY MIND IS.... What is my clients previous hair story? Today my client came in, she has been a client on and off with me for years. I know her hair( which makes it a bit easier) . My clients hair is base 6 and 5 in places at crown and halo sections are 6 also holds so much orange undertones in these areas, however all around the nape, outer sides, temple and fringe areas the base is the same but only yellow tones are present.. Today I started my highlights at Center of crown and worked my way out using ULTIMATE LIGHTENER with 9% and worked my way out to hair line and dropping percentage of developer to 3% as I went.. all lifted beautifully at at same time, then I refined hair colour with 9.81 at root and 10.81 and 10.28..
