This weekend is your last chance to view the new collection by @huguetmallorca, Astrid Stavro and Pentagram at Cromwell Place, London SW7! The second of @mrwilley’s two pieces, this cast cement coffee table has a top composed of sixteen handmade Huguet tiles. Holes in the table base allow the owner to easily rotate, move and swap tiles to create a nearly infinite number of compositions, making the table an ever-changing installation. The table can last a lifetime, stand up to the wear and tear of growing families and multiple moves, and is dynamic by its very nature. To accompany the table, three sets of sixteen tiles were designed as a part of the collection. The ability to swap out tile sets encourages the owner to collect different sets created by artists in ongoing collaborations with Huguet. Beyond the context of the coffee table, individual tiles from each of the three tile sets can be arranged in endless combinations to create unique patterns, and used as either floor or wall tiles. ...........................
