My Favorite Chili! My family loves this ground beef chili recipe: 🥩2lbs ground beef, browned 1 white onion, diced 4 garlic cloves minced 8oz green Chiles 12 canned, diced tomatoes 1 large can mild chili beans 24 oz Beef or vegetable stock 16 oz favorite salsa, (mine is homemade see recipe at the top of my profile). Optional: 2 jalapeños, deveined, diced 2 poblanos, deveined, peeled Dried Chiles: 5 Chiles guajillos, cleaned and rehydrated 2 Chiles pasilla, cleaned and rehydrated 🧂Seasoning: 1 Tbsp garlic powder 1 Tbsp onion powder 2 tsp paprika 2 tsp cumin 2 Tbsp brown sugar 1 tsp beef bouillon Not shown in video: drizzle of mustard & ketchup. Yes, that’s right, just a fast drizzle. ;) 🧬Masa Slurry: 1.5 Tbsp masa harina mixed with 3 Tbsp water or chili spoonfuls to combine. Once a slurry, incorporate into chili. Recipe tip: if you’re not using guajillos, substitute with 1 Tbsp chili powder. Let me know if you try this chili recipe.
