I dream of hollywood via new york through madrid. I am laying down on my sofa, eyes closing, belly full of sushi and wine and about to eat a green tea mochi, my body exhausted, my mind tired. I dream of movies and tv and remember they’re realities now. I officially finished my MFA today. I think of hollywood and new york and feel far from the US, a door closing, not locking, just closing for a moment or two. I begin shooting in two weeks. I think of that phrase- remember when you wanted what you now have? it rings like a mantra to stay grounded and thankful. sometimes i can’t believe it- everything i’ve dreamt of turns slowly into reality. either one way or another, time puts things in its place. sometimes I can believe it- and i smile.
