The Royal Mail is raising a glass to Iron Maiden with a rare Special Stamp collection. The 12-stamp issue will feature eight images from some of Iron Maiden’s best-known performances, from the 1980s until 2018, plus a miniature sheet showing four Eddie artworks – an illustrated fixture across Iron Maiden albums since their debut. Iron Maiden are only the fifth band to be featured in a dedicated stamp collection, following The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Queen and the Rolling Stones last year. Which band deserves the treatment next?
