I was on my way to the B Michael event and I bumped into Dr. Cynthia Magro on Madison Avenue on her way to Bergdorf Goodman after work. Cynthia’s outfit is a curated ensemble of a magnificent vintage coat circa 1960s from the iconic Ben Kahn that she acquired some years ago as an estate find. Under the coat is the Wolford Colorado Turtleneck and the Wolford Vegan leather leggings paired with a pair of black Givenchy Stretch style boots. Her sunglasses are by Morgenthal Fredericks; they are the Holly frames inspired by the Oliver Goldsmith frames worn by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. The black suede gloves are by Sermonato. Her necklace is made from an ancient bronze Roman coin featuring Constantine the Great(circa 320 AD) set in gold and suspended on an intertwined silk rope coupled with vintage gold door knocker style earrings from the 1960s.
