We believe that the disabled community is underserved and that brands need to create clothes that are both functional and fashionable. By meeting the needs of the disabled community, the fashion industry can show that it cares about all citizens and supports this underserved market. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ There are many ways to make clothes more accessible for people with disabilities, outside of focusing on design which is desirable, brands can offer adaptive clothing features like removable sleeves or hems, snaps or Velcro closures, and higher necklines.
