My gift is the ability to endure. These last 14 months were the hardest of my life. When I first enrolled in this software engineering program, I knew it would be hard, but I had no idea how difficult it would be. It took constant work every day for over a year, and I sacrificed many sunsets, fall colors, and milky ways. With so much time away from my family and friends, I sacrificed everything that made me happy for this. As of today, I am officially finished 👨‍🎓! Even though I 'graduated,' it's not over - landing a job as a software engineer is a different monster I will have to tackle. Special thanks to my wifey @the_lil_0ne , who held down the fort at our house. While I studied, she took over every responsibility in our home to ensure I could give my best and succeed. I completed this year-long program while still working full-time, running a business, and doing my best to spend the little time I had with my family, but I was running on fumes. My most significant achievement to date is completing this and not giving up despite wanting to give up so many times. I look forward to having my life back, playing with my son after work, shooting sunsets, having photography back in my life, and going to bed by nine 🤣 👴🏼!
