If I had to make a list of my favorite 10 drummers that had the biggest effect on me @vinniecolaiuta is at the very top. Number 1? Number 2? Hard to say but Vinnie turned my world upside down when I was about 12 years old. This band (minus Russel) played the @bakedpotatojazzclub often around this time under the name "Dog Cheese" when they weren't on the road with Joni. They did what you're watching here but times about 50 on any given night. My dad would drive me up to LA to watch and Vinnie would put us on the list and save a few seats right next to his drums and proceed to "take me to school."
