And still, she is somehow breathing and wagging her tail.⁠ ⁠ Professor Jiggy was thrown out of a moving car in Tijuana and dragged down the road, leaving her legs twisted and her skull completely exposed. Why did someone go out of their way to hurt an innocent animal? She is now fighting for her life. We cannot change her past but we can give her the best chance she has at a future.⁠ ⁠ It is necessary that Professor Jiggy be hospitalized and receiving around the clock care. She is on pain medications, antibiotics, fluids, and undergoing regular bandage changes. As soon as she is stable enough, she will be undergoing reconstructive surgery. Thankfully, the trauma barely missed her eye and we are hoping there isn’t severe nerve damage.
